Success of our trial event

On Thursday 23rd of October, BHASVIC StoryWorks ran the first ever Ghost Walks around BHASVIC, inviting students to learn and explore the history and supernatural side to the college. Our tours proved extremely popular, with tours being 92% full. Students were able to meet Matron, a ghost who supposedly haunts College House. They were able to ask questions to Matron via dowsing rods, of which proved very popular. Students also learned about the history of the college, including when it was in use as a hospital. Our student tour guides/event organisers ran 3 tours in total as part of BHASVIC’s Spirit Week for halloween.

Post-event feedback was incredibly positive, with all the participants enjoying the event. We believe from this that our idea of the festival would be successful, and are therefore pleased to push on with the BHASVIC Community History Festival.

Ghost Tours will be part of the festival, so ensure you don’t miss out on a chance to meet Matron in her ghostly flat! Tickets will become available on our Book Tickets page.
